Where are you located?

Our studio is located at: 1500 Adams Avenue, #109, Costa Mesa, CA 92626. We are located less than 1 mile from Orange Coast College and 2 miles from the OC Fairgrounds. 

 

Do I need to have painting experience to attend a class? 

No experience is required. We welcome everyone to join us and encourage those new to painting. Our instructor will provide stroke by stroke instructions, leading you through the process of creating your very own masterpiece!

 

Do I get to keep my painting?

Yes, of course! You get to take your new masterpiece home with you at the end of the evening!

 

What do I need to bring to class?

All you need to do is show up. We will provide everything you need including a 16" x 20" canvas, easel, paint, brushes and apron. All you need to bring is a great attitude and you will go home an artist!

 

What should I wear?

We use acrylic paint during class, which is non-toxic water based paint. While we do provide our guests aprons to protect your clothes, we encourage you to wear something you don't mind getting a little paint on, just in case! 

 

Can I bring food and beverages?

We offer a wide variety of beverages including wine, craft beer, sparkling wine, sodas, coffee and mocktails (non-alocholic drinks). You may bring food from outside.  Beverages from outside are not permitted. For private parties, please email us for more details.

 

Can someone attend class without registering? 

Everyone who attends our classes must be registered through our website. To register, visit our Calendar

 

How do I sign up?

First, go to our Calendar page. Once you decide on a date and time, click on the date you are interested in, click on the time and you will be taken to registration. Register and pay. Don't see the date and time you are looking for? Give us a call or email us, and we will be happy to help you. If you are attending with a group, it is best for the first person in your group that registers to create a group name and share with everyone else what the group name is. This is how we will seat you together. We cannot guarantee seating placement if you do not indicate your group upon checkout.

 

Do you have electronic gift cards?

When does the next calendar get posted?

We do our very best to fill the calendar with events at least 1 month in advance giving you plenty of time to plan ahead with family and friends. 

 

If an event is sold out, do you have a waiting list?

Yes! When you register for an event and it has been sold out, it will ask if you would like to be put on the waiting list. If you select yes, your name will be added to the waitlist. If you are called due to someone's cancellation, we will give you as much notice as possible.

 

What time are class events held?

Check our monthly calendar for the specific event dates and times. 

 

When should I arrive for class?

Doors will open at least 15 minutes before the start of a class. This will give you time to settle in, eat, drink and socialize. We promptly start our classes. If you are late, you will need to catch up with minimal assistance. For the respect of our other guests and instructors, please make every effort to arrive early. 

 

How long is a class session?

Class last about 1.5-3 hours, depending on the complexity of the painting.

Does Inspired only offer painting classes?

We offer painting classes across different mediums: acrylic, watercolor, wearable art, mixed media and drawing. We also host classes and private events with painting on a wine glass and wine bottles.

 

What is an Inspired class like?

We designed our studio to be a relaxed space that inspires creativity and social energy. Everyone paints together, but we encourage you to add your own personal style. A break or two during the session allows the paint to dry and a chance for you to stretch your legs and check out the other masterpieces in progress. If you feel the urge to sing or dance during the tunes that we play while you paint, go for it. Any creativity is welcome here! The atmosphere is laid back and relaxing... it's all about having a great time!

 

Are the classes on your calendar public events?

Unless marked "Private Event," they are open for you to join. Come with your friends, your signficant other, a family member or by yourself. Our events are social and fun-- you might even make new friends and is the perfect mini escape from the demands of life, job or kids. For less than the price of a mani/pedi, you leave with a keepsake to proudly display!

 

 

Can I book a private party?

Absolutely! We offer adult parties, corporate team building and fundraising events. Please visit our Private Events page or email us at: info@inspiredartwine.com and we will get in touch with you to discuss your event.

How do fundraisers work? 

As a locally owned business, it is important for us to give back to our community. You can book an event with us by calling or emailing. Once we get a confirmed headcount for your party, we will set up a custom registration link for your party to register their spot and up to 25% of the sales goes to your cause. We mostly do fundraisers on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday. You are required show proof of a 501C non-profit organization.

 

Can I rent your space for a private party without art instruction?

Yes, in addition to paint parties, our space makes a great venue for other events. You may cater or bring your own food. Please email us to discuss your event: info@inspiredartwine.com.

 

 

What is included in the price?

Everything! We provide everything you will need for class:  canvas, paint, brushes, easels and aprons along with snacks. Depending on the day, one drink is included with your ticket. Your station will already be set up when you arrive and we take care of cleaning up when class is finished. Beverages are available for purchase at the bar. We even clean up after you are done! 

 

What is the cost of a class session?

The regular price per public class session is $30-$45 depending on the artwork. The price includes all the supplies, teaching and snacks. Best part, taxes! If you have a party with 10 guests or more, contact our studio for a group discount: (714) 813-0730 or info@inspiredartwine.com. We offer special packages if you are booking a private party.

 

What is the cost to book private party?

To reserve a private party, we require a minimum of 15 guests and a 50% deposit to reserve the seats. We offer special packages for private bookings. Please visit our Private Events page for more information. 

 

Can I pay at the studio?

Class bookings are to be paid for online at the time you submit your registration. Unfortunately, we cannot hold spots without payment. For private bookings, we require a 50% deposit to reserve the seats

 
 

 

What is your cancellation policy?

As we have limited seating and our classes often sell out, if you need to cancel for any reason, we do ask that you notify us as far in advance as possible. Cancellations within 48 hours of the scheduled class will not be eligible for a refund. However, we will allow you to transfer your seat to another class of your choice. No-shows or those canceled less than 24 hours, will not receive a rain check. If you notify us at least 21 days prior to the event, you will receive a refund. There is a $10.00 processing fee for each individual refund. If you do not show up for the event and do not contact us, you will not receive a refund. If you would like to change the date of the event, based on availability, you must notify us at least 10 business days prior to the event. Cancellations or rebooking requests must be done by emailing us at: info@inspiredartwine.com.

 

What if my event is cancelled due to weather?

If an event is cancelled due to weather, for the safety of our guests and our staff, a class credit will be issued to be used at a future Inspired event.

 

Other important information

Inspired reserves the right to cancel an event at any time due to class size, weather, sickness, etc. If we feel we need to cancel an event, every attempt will be made to notify those that have signed up for a session. If you paid online, you will be given the option of rescheduling your session or a refund will be made.
